Sinusitis Symptoms
Drainage of a thick, yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat; nasal obstruction or congestion; tenderness and swelling around the eyes, cheeks, nose and forehead; and/or a reduced sense of smell and taste.
For many patients, symptoms vary and may include nasal congestion, facial discomfort, nasal discharge, headache and fatigue. Sinusitis is considered acute when symptoms last 4 weeks or less and chronic when it lasts 12 weeks or longer.
